CircusBanner

The circus, basketball and ice hockey are slated for November at Allstate Arena in Rosemont, with comedy and music slated for the Rosemont Theater.

This week the circus comes town. For more than a week, Nov. 4-13, Ringling Brothers and Barnum and Bailey presents “Out of This World” at the arena. There will be no elephants this year as they were phased out of the show for humanitarian reasons, circus officials say. Showtimes vary each day and night.

After the circus, DePaul University’s men’s basketball team plays its first game of the 2016-17 season at the arena at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 17 against the Rutgers Scarlet Knights. They play again at the arena at 12:30 p.m. Nov. 20 against the Milwaukee Panthers and at 7 p.m. Nov. 23 against the Missouri State Bears.

The Chicago Wolves face the Iowa Wild at 7 p.m. Nov. 19 at the arena, the Rockford IceHogs at 7 p.m. Nov. 26, the Manitoba Moose at 4 p.m. Nov. 27 and the Texas Stars at 7 p.m. Nov. 30.

Comedian and actress Amy Schumer is set to appear at the arena at 8 p.m. Nov. 25. Comedian and actor George Lopez will be at the Rosemont Theater at 8 p.m. Nov. 18 followed by La Arrolladora Banda Limon at 8 p.m. Nov. 23.
