Rosemont's Allstate Arena Ranked 3rd in US for 2015 Concert & Family Show Ticket Sales

Rosemont’s Allstate Arena has been ranked third in the United States by Pollstar Magazine in its 2015 worldwide ticket sales report for concerts and family programming. Selling 632,878 tickets in 2015, the Arena is ranked 10th worldwide. 
 
“We are proud to host such a wide array of great musical and family entertainment at the Allstate Arena,” said Rosemont Mayor Brad Stephens.  “We are grateful to our partners for making the Allstate Arena one of the top destinations in the world for entertainment programming.”
 
The 19,000-seat Allstate Arena attracts approximately 1.4 million visitors annually, presenting a variety of programming including concerts, sporting events and family shows. Highlights of 2015 concerts and family programming at the Arena included Fleetwood Mac, Enrique Iglesias, Pitbull, Ariana Grande, Eric Church, The Who, New Kids on the Block, Imagine Dragons, Shania Twain, Kelly Clarkson, Motley Crue, Marc Anthony, Darius Rucker and Justin Bieber.
 
Below are the top 10 worldwide arena venues with the most ticket sales generated in 2015 for concerts and family shows:
  1. The O2 - London: London; 1,819,487 tickets sold
  2. Manchester Arena: Manchester; 1, 130, 794 tickets sold
  3. The SSE Hydro: Glasgow; 1,021,038 tickets sold
  4. Madison Square Garden Arena: New York; 1,013,453 tickets sold
  5. Ziggo Dome: Amsterdam; 821,475 tickets sold
  6. Arena Ciudad De Mexico: Mexico City; 802,031 tickets sold
  7. Lanxess Arena: Cologne; 733,433 tickets sold
  8. Barclays Center: Brooklyn; 671,092 tickets sold
  9. Air Canada Centre: Toronto; 643,845 tickets sold
  10. Allstate Arena, Rosemont; 632,878 tickets sold
Opened in 1980 and operated by the Village of Rosemont, the Allstate Arena is the proud home of the Chicago Wolves (American Hockey League) and the Chicago Sky (WNBA).
