Following a highly successful debut last year, “Disturbia, Screams in the Park” is back to scare the heck out of folks in Rosemont with several new offerings, including crazy clowns and a cavern of darkness, beginning at 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 2 at MB Financial Park in the basement level of the parking garage.

What is described as an interactive horror experience, the haunt features 20,000 square feet of terror with more than 35 rooms where guests determine their own fate based on choices they make while traversing the “inescapable halls of the haunt”.

New additions to the haunt include an insane asylum managed by clowns who are “killing for laughs” along with caverns of darkness, officials note.

“Disturbia: Screams in the Park” is produced by Joseph and Mike Pantano. Last year the event was ranked third by Haunted Illinois in their list of top Chicago-area haunted houses.

Disturbia will be open from 7 to 11 p.m. Wednesdays, Thursdays and Sundays and from 7 p.m. to midnight Fridays and Saturdays. It will be open Oct. 2-4,  Oct. 9-11,  Oct. 15-18, Oct. 21-25, and Oct. 27-Nov. 1.

Parking is free for attendees with validation from the haunted house ticket booth. Signs directing visitors to the main elevators in the middle of the parking garage will guide the way to the event. They must take the elevators to the lower level where they will find Disturbia.

Tickets are available for purchase online and in person on-site. General admission is $25 per person. VIP tickets, which provide faster access and less wait time, are $45 per person and discounted tickets for groups of 10 or more are available. A minimum age of 13 is recommended for the haunt and parental discretion is advised.
