The second annual “TheFitExpo Chicago” will be held all day Saturday, June 25th and Sunday, June 26th in Hall G of the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center, 5555 N. River Rd., Rosemont.
The event is geared toward fitness enthusiasts, professionals, athletes and leisure sports fans. In offers 15 free competitions, non-stop new workout classes, cooking programs, speakers and 200 health and fitness vendors.
“We are the largest fitness event in Rosemont and the greater Chicago area. We bring everyone involved in health and fitness together,” FitExpo’s Monica Gillen said.
On the agenda is The Heartland Games, highlighting crossfit-style team workouts; a healthy living pavilion with seminars on cooking, a fitness training zone with celebrity trainers, extreme martial arts by the Windy City Trickers doing kicks, flips, twists and intricate groundwork, and more.
The event also offers a supervised kids zone for children 12 and under where they can play and learn.
