Bureau of Patrol

kukulka_with_nameThe primary focus of Patrol is law enforcement activities including responding to police related calls for service, directed patrol, crime prevention, and traffic enforcement.  However, as public safety officers, members assigned to patrol, are equipped for and respond to EMS and Fire Suppression related calls for service.

Patrol is staffed by four (4) squads of personnel.  Each squad is comprised of members who have expertise in specialties such as SWAT, K9, Crime Scene Technicians, Field Training, Crime Prevention, and Accident Investigations.  Qualified members carry specialized equipment in their patrol vehicle so they can immediately respond to an incident.  Squads are commanded by a Lieutenant with support and leadership of several Sergeants.


The Investigations Division is staffed by well-trained detectives who are assigned to Units.  These Units include, General Investigations, Vice/Gang Investigations, and Juvenile Investigations.
