ROSEMONT, Ill. – MB Financial Park at Rosemont (5501 Park Place, Rosemont) thrilled to announce a special three-show Friday night concert series featuring legendary classic rock artists Ides of March with Jim Peterik and The Shadows of Knight (June 30); former Journey vocalist Steve Augeri (July 28); and Jefferson Starship (Sept. 1).
Presented by Jack Daniels, all Friday night concerts will run from 7 p.m. – 10 p.m. Admission is free. Food and beverage tents from MB Financial Park’s venues will be available for guests to enjoy during the concerts. Outside food and coolers are prohibited. Parking is available at the MB Financial Park parking garage and is free with validation from any of the park’s venues.
The Friday night concerts will supplement the annual “Rockin’ in the Park” free summer concert series that takes place at MB Financial Park on Thursday nights from June 1 through August 31. For more information, visit .
Friday, June 30: Ides of March featuring Jim Peterik and The Shadows of Knight
Best known for their hit song “Vehicle,” the Ides of March have toured with several legendary musicians including Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin and Led Zeppelin. Featuring Grammy-winning Singer/Songwriter Jim Peterik, whose songs include Survivor’s “The Eye Of The Tiger,” the Ides of March have entertained audiences around the country with more than 11,000 performances.
Friday, July 28: Former Journey vocalist Steve Augeri
Steve Augeri is an American rock vocalist best known as the lead singer of the acclaimed rock group Journey from 1998 through 2006. Augeri made his vocal debut with Journey on the soundtrack for the hit science fiction film “Armageddon” with “Remember Me.” Augeri’s performances showcase some exciting new songs from his new album, “The Singles,” as well as material from his career with Journey.
