Two exciting new properties are under construction in Rosemont’s new entertainment district. aloft Chicago O’Hare Hotel and the Intercontinental Chicago O’Hare together will add more than 800 rooms, lots of meeting space and plenty of fun and entertainment.
The aloft Hotel High on Design
The aloft Chicago O’Hare hotel, is a high-design, fashion-forward brand, according to the property’s Director of Sales, Violet Banach. “It’s the DNA of the W brand. We remain on schedule -- ready to open between July and August.” W’s high design is visible in the 251 room hotel. “It’s very electronic gadget friendly,” Ms. Banach said. “Our guests will enjoy wireless throughout the hotel, plus large flat-panel, hi-definition televisions in the rooms and instant plug-in and direct laptop service. The nine-foot tall rooms are extremely bright and oversized.”

Intercontinental Marries Space & Luxury
The Intercontinental Chicago O’Hare hotel construction is ahead of schedule, according to the property’s general manager, David Hall.
With 556 guest rooms, 70 suites and 65,000 square feet of meeting space. “We already are booking wedding business,” Mr. Hall said. “We opened our reservations for groups already. We will be taking individual bookings beginning October 4.”
A very special attraction to this particular hotel is Intercontinental’s creation of a valuable art collection.
Its new restaurants -- Osteria di Tramonto with Rick Tramonto from Chicago’s renowned TRU restaurant, McCormick and Schmick’s and Capital Grille, will be an additional attraction, along with the hotel’s 300-seat Montrose Room, a cabaret presenting Ron Hawking and another cabaret artist five nights a week.
