Students’ Holiday Concert Thursday At Rosemont School

Rosemont Elementary School will come alive with music this week as students perform their annual “Holiday Concert”.

The kindergarten class, school bands and choir will present the annual winter program twice on Thursday, Dec. 8 for parents and family, classmates and staff. The first performance is from 2 to 3 p.m. and the second from 7 to 8 p.m. Both performances are free and take place in the school gym at 6101 N. Ruby St.

The concert band, made up of sixth, seventh and eighth graders, will play “The Gift of Christmas”, “Lo, How a Rose E’re Blooming” and “A Crazy Mixed-Up Christmas Concert”. 

The fifth grade band will play “London Bridge”, “Ode To Joy” and “Jingle Bells”.

The fourth grade band plays “Rolling Along”, “Go Tell Aunt Rhodie” and “Jingle Bells” as well. 

The band and choir program is directed by fine arts teacher Scott Lindstrom.
