The Chicagoland Pops Orchestra
The Chicagoland Pops Orchestra (CPO) presented by the Village of Rosemont, is a professional symphonic ensemble under the direction of Music Director and Principal Conductor Arnie Roth. The CPO is comprised of some of Chicagoland’s most talented and experienced musicians and features world-class artists during their entire season. Stretching the boundaries of the traditional symphony orchestra, the CPO performs a wide variety of popular, classical and contemporary works for enthusiastic and sold out audiences.
The Chicagoland Pops Orchestra celebrates its fifth anniversary this year. The season kicks off on October 20 with Grammy nominated singer/songwriter Jewel. International operatic pop sensation David Miller, of II Divo, performs in a December 21 concert also featuring the American Girl® Ambassadors. Broadway legend and hit solo artist Linda Eder will join the Pops on February 23. Johnny Mathis, one of the most celebrated recording artists of all time, will perform on May 31. The Chicagoland Pops Orchestra, led by Music Director and Principal Conductor Arnie Roth, is Chicago's only resident pop orchestra, a professional symphonic ensemble presenting an innovative blend of popular music, classical works and a variety of contemporary genres.
