Socially Distant Visits with Santa
Although it will take on a new look this year, Fashion Outlets of Chicago will again host visits with Santa at the shopping center now through Christmas Eve. The longstanding tradition thoughtfully adapted to accommodate today’s health concerns. This year’s experience will offer guests a variety of photo packages in addition to a mailbox where children can drop off their letters to Santa. Health and safety protocols include hand sanitizing stations at the entrance and exit, floor decals for social distancing, the cleaning of photo areas between guest visits and the requirement of masks for guests and staff alike.

Outdoor Ice Skating at Parkway Bank Park
Rosemont’s Parkway Bank Park entertainment district will once again kick off the holiday season with the opening of its Chicago Wolves Ice Rink Friday, Nov. 27. Visitors can celebrate the magic of the season by skating under a dazzling display of more than 80,000 holiday lights.

In order to ensure social distancing this year, the ice rink will limit capacities and advance ice skating reservations are required. 45-minute skating reservations and ice skate rentals can be facilitated online at www.parkwaybankpark.com. Skating is free, however, a credit card is required to hold reservations. Skate rentals are available online for $8. Guests with reservations who fail to appear for their skating time will incur at $8 per person fee.

Other health and safety procedures for ice skating include temperature checks for skaters upon arrival and consistent cleaning of high-touch surfaces. Face masks are required for staff and encouraged for skaters.
