Bobby Stevens



Bobby Stevens is a former farmhand of the Baltimore Orioles and Atlanta Braves, currently with the Atlantic League Somerset Patriots. Currently a Head Instructor for the Windy City Travelers traveling program and the DTA Wildcats. A 16th round MLB Draft Pick in 2008 out of Northern Illinois University, Bobby was team captain and starter all 3 years at NIU. Before NIU career, the Prep Baseball Report rated Bobby the No. 1 shortstop in Illinois. He was a 4-year Varsity starter and Class A All-State Shortstop his senior year at Guerin Prep after spending his first three years at Holy Cross High School.

Playing at all levels from Rookie to Triple-A, Bobby has had the chance to work with Lee Elia, Luis Salazar, Mike Bordick, Milt May, Shane Spencer, and Denny Hocking amongst others. He’s won championships at the Collegiate and Professional level and understands what it takes to prepare and succeed both physically and mentally. He translates what he has learned throughout his professional career to help athletes of all ages achieve their goals. “You are not a robot, there is no one right way to hit, but there are certain fundamentals within a swing and defensively that must be learned.”

Pitcher at Indiana State University where he led the team in strikeouts and innings pitched for three years. Mike was the 16th round Draft-pick in 2003 and spent 10 years in the Milwaukee Brewers organization – he spent parts of 5 seasons at the Major League level. In 2013 Mike pitched for the Angels organization with triple A Salt Lake City.
