The Scott Street Subdivision in Rosemont will undergo major improvements to its road lighting system this summer.
Village board members today (Wednesday) are expected to approve a contract with H & H Electric Co. to construct a new lighting system in the 330-home neighborhood. Work calls for installing new decorative lighting and light poles along the subdivision’s many streets such as Scott, Ruby and
Hope. Also located within the subdivision is senior and village employee housing.
H & H will be paid $1,677,043 for the work. The Scott Street Subdivision is located south of Higgins Road between I-90 and the Canadian National railroad tracks.
