Rosemont Outlet Mall Patrons May Be Able To Shop With Wine In Hand

Rosemont trustees April 5 took the first step to allowing a wine bar to open at the Chicago Fashion Outlets mall.

According to a Chicago Premium Outlets representative, the wine bar could be located, kiosk-style, in the mall’s northern common area on the first floor. Patrons would be able to sip on wine at the kiosk, or take their beverages in plastic cups and carry them throughout the building.

Trustees agreed to increase the number of liquor licenses for an establishment allowed to sell wine in this way during Wednesday’s village board meeting.

Mayor Brad Stephens said some high-end retail centers offer wine to customers.
