Rosemont vehicle stickers will go on sale beginning Dec. 9. There will be a monetary penalty for those who purchase their stickers after Feb. 15.

Vehicle stickers for residents cost $3; stickers for trucks range from $30 to $100 depending on weight class. After Feb. 15, the cost for residents increases to $10. For those who would like to select their own vehicle sticker number, the cost is $25. Senior citizens over age 60 do not need to pay for a vehicle sticker.

In order to purchase a sticker, residents must provide a valid driver’s license and vehicle registration. Exact change or checks are appreciated.

Residents can purchase stickers from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Wednesday as well as 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 4 and Saturday, Jan. 25 on the second floor of Village Hall, 9501 W. Devon Ave.

Stickers will also be on sale from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 11 and Saturday, Jan. 25 at the Barry Recreation Center, 7128 Barry St.

Paulette DiMatteo will distribute stickers from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday at the Senior Recreation portion of the center beginning Dec. 9.

A vehicle sticker can be transferred to another vehicle of the same class for a $1 transfer fee, as long as there is a transfer of registration to the same vehicle.

For any questions regarding the vehicle sticker program, residents can contact Bobby Gulo at 847-825-4404, ext. 265.
