Platinum selling recording artist Andy Grammer will perform an acoustic set of his hit songs during the “Eric in the Morning Grab Your Bags Tournament” at Rosemont’s Parkway Bank Park entertainment district (5501 Park Place) Tuesday, June 18 at 6:30 p.m. “American Idol” season 16 winner and singer-songwriter Maddie Poppe will serve as the opening act. During the free acoustic set presented by 101.9 THE MIX morning host Eric Ferguson, donations will be collected for “MIX Kids” benefitting Ann and Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago.
Andy Grammer first rose to fame with his self-titled debut album in 2011 which featured his hit singles “Keep Your Head Up” and “Fine by Me.” In 2014, Grammer’s “Honey, I’m Good” reached the top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100 and was certified triple-platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). In February 2019, Grammer released his latest song, “Don’t Give Up On Me,” from the soundtrack of “Five Feet Apart” starring Haley Lu Richardson and Cole Sprouse.
Throughout the duration of the event, all guests can enjoy outdoor food and drink tents hosted by the Park’s restaurants. Outside food and coolers are prohibited. Parking is available at the Parkway Bank Park parking garage and is free with validation from any of the park’s venues.
